Every single one of the teachers at Cree's Corner are thoroughly vetted and go through a three step interview and screening process. Previous employment and references of all teachers are verified and proof of all training and certifications are required.  All of our teachers truly love teaching children and are compassionate, understanding, and professional. 

The Owner of Cree's Corner, along with all of the teachers who teach at Cree's Corner, have the following education and certifications:

• Extensive Background Screening and Fingerprints Clearance

• Minimum of two (2) years teaching children 4 years and younger

• Completion of the Department of Children and Family (DCF) 30-hour child care training course OR

• Completion of the Department of Children and Child Care Facility (DCF) 40-hour child care training course

• Completion of the Department of Children and Family (DCF) 5-hour course in early literacy and language development of children ages birth through five years

• CPR/First Aid Certification

• Completed Sleep Safe/Shaken Baby Syndrome Training course

• Completed Fire Extinguisher Training Course

• Completed Medication Administration Training Course

• Food Handler's Certification

• Completes 10 hours of In-Service Training Annually
